Hello!

We're Libby and Heather, the team behind Spruce & Nest. We're passionate about creating structured, beautiful, and livable systems in your home to help control clutter, bring joy, and save time. Whatever your goals, we'd love to hear from you.

Although my career has taken me in many different directions, my core pursuit has always been imagining, building, and improving systems -- particularly systems that support vibrant and meaningful communities. I love merging my analytical side with my delight in all things home and family, and truly very few things get my blood pumping as much as creating function and beauty out of chaos.

I live with my husband, an interior carpenter, and our three children outside of Portland. I have lived all over the country but I have always felt the most at home in Maine. I attended Yale University and I've worked in nonprofit leadership, social impact technology, and women's rights advocacy. I love reading, puzzles, cooking, and being a bad gardener.

I’m an experienced marketer with a passion for home decorating and organizing. Originally from Massachuestts, I’ve lived in Washington DC, Michigan, Minnesota, and Seattle - but Maine, where I live just north of Portland with my husband, two boys, and puppy, feels like home. I attended Smith College for undergrad and got my MBA from the University of Michigan. I’ve worked in brand and product marketing across a range of industries. Outside of work you’ll find me reading, gardening, hiking, and beachcombing with my family.

I believe that a person’s home is an important part of their own personal brand and have always enjoyed helping friends and family design spaces that are both meaningful for and aesthetically pleasing to them. I’m excited to work with you to bring new life and efficiency to the spaces that mean the most to your family.
